Toni Marthaller-Andersen: Family Nurse Practitioner
Toni Marthaller-Andersen MSN, ARNP, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) is an advanced registered nurse practitioner board certified as a primary care provider in family medicine by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her work is based on the concepts of holism with an emphasis on building relationship with patients. She utilizes an integrative medicine model in practice and weaves the best of allopathic medicine, holistic nursing, and complimentary and alternative medicine to individualize treatment plans and support the patient’s unique health and wellness needs.
In addition to the past decade as a family nurse practitioner, her nursing career has included inpatient obstetric nursing, patient and peer education, patient advocacy, public and community health, and home health and hospice. A Washington State licensed massage therapist from 1986 – 2007, and a Healing Touch practitioner, she used her massage experience and education to integrate the use of touch and nurturing in the hospital, home and clinic settings.
Toni has always had a keen interest in complementary and alternative medicine for herself and family and utilizes herbal, homeopathic, nutriceutical and energetic interventions in her practice. She works in collaboration with allied health professionals and encourages patient referrals to naturopaths, acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists and homeopaths.
